India Budget 5G Smartphone Launch By Tecno

Tecno is not stopping, Tecno is launching a lot of budget phones these days and among them is tecno spark 30c 5g. Yes it is 5g not 4g and this is what I am expecting today to tell you. And what is pro's & con's about this budget oriented phone and whether it should be bought or not, I will tell you everything in this article.

Box Content & Accesories 

The box of Tecno spark 30c is very colorful which has been made in collaboration with Transformers, in the box you get your smartphone with data cable and the full size skin of the smartphone is given as Transformers, if you want to change the back design then You can apply skin which looks very beautiful, but unfortunately there is no charger in the box, this is a budget phone and there is no charger in the box, this is not a good thing because it will definitely increase the pricing of this phone if you purchase a separate charger.

Design & Build

Now talking about the design and build, the rear side has a polycarbonate back panel and polycarbonate frames, the rear panel of this phone comes with a matte design which does not allow fingerprints marks, it has a thickness of 7.82mm and 189 grams weight is what makes this smartphone's form factor bigger, otherwise you get a hybrid slot where you can insert an micro SD card, a single mic is provided with dual stereo speakers which are loud and clear and the bass is also good. The smartphone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and it also has good haptics. IR blaster is also given on the rear side so that you can control the smart devices of your home, this smartphone has got IP54 rating which is good, this smartphone can handle dust and water sprinkles, and you also get legendary 3.5mm jack in this smartphone.

Display & Brightness 

Talking about the display, you get a 6.67 HD+LCD with 120hz refresh rate, punch hole display and the screen to body ratio of the phone is also good, this smartphone comes with panda glass protection. The front glass panel is protected by Panda Glass and comes with a pre applied screen protector. The peak brightness of this phone is 480nits which is good indoor and the viewing angles of indoor are also good but little lacking in outdoor, however its notable that despite having a LCD panel the smartphone offers Always On Display. The feature of display is given which is generally found in Amoled and Oled smartphones, but it has a cache, its always on display feature is on only for 10 seconds and after that it goes off if you move the phone a little it wakes up immediately.

Processor & Chipset

Talking about the processor, it is important to know that Mediatek Dimensity 6300 5G Chipset is based on 6nm and is a good chipset considering the price, its Antutu score is 411674 and the CPU throttle is also 89% which is very good. It comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 ROM. If you want to play games in this smartphone then you can play in medium to high settings, even if you play for long term then there will be no problem because the chipset does not have any overheating problem and it can also handle the tasks of day to day life well. The brand has claimed lag free performance for upto 4 years.

Software/User Interface

Talking about software, it is based on Android 14 and it has Android skin. It is based on OS 14.5 and you will get 2 years security patch but there is no talk of updates regarding yearly OS update. In this smartphone you get bloatwares such as viewing Snapchat, Facebook etc., and Palm Store which is its own App store which brings unnecessary notifications which you can disable in the settings, stock dialer is also given. You can do call recording without any announcement and you also get support for AI wallpaper and along with it you have AI ELLA multi language support voice assistant. You have the option to activate it in the smartphone settings. If you have to translate the chat or if there is any unknown language in the image, then this AI can do all these things. 

Camera & Video

Talking about camera, you get an impressive camera setup in your smartphone. You get a primary camera of 48 megapixel which is Sony IMX582 sensor and maximum you can do 10x zoom which is generally not available in this price range. Maximum you can shoot 2k video at 30FPS and 8 megapixel selfie and here also you can shoot video at max 2k 30FPS, there is also slow motion which gives good slow motion videos at 120fps. Features are also provided in the camera like Dual video recording and portrait is also available with 1x 2x zoom, generally 1x 2x portrait feature is not available in this price range but surprisingly this feature is provided in this smartphone. You also get sky mode in this smartphone where you can change the color of the sky.

Battery

Talking about the battery, you get 5000 MAH battery in this smartphone and it supports 18watt charging but the charger is not available in the box and it will take you 1.3 hours to charge from 0% to 100% providing nearly full day backup. If you are a moderate user then at the end of the day I think you will have to charge it once, but the battery backup performance is generally good.

Network & Connectivity 

Talking about network & connectivity, you get 10 5G bandwidth in this smartphone and it has Widevine L1, Bluetooth 5.4, Camera 2 Api, WiFi 5, FM radio support. All important sensors are supported. The interesting thing is that this smartphone support NFC which is rare to find in this price range.
